01 / GET GROWING

Planting & Soil

  • Choose plants suited to the local climate and season.
  • Rotate annual crops between plant families where practical.
  • Keep weeds down and check plants regularly for pests or disease.
02 / CARE FOR YOUR BED

Watering & Mulch

  • Check the soil before watering; adjust care to your plants and the weather.
  • Mulch around established plants to retain moisture and reduce weeds.
  • Please leave community-bed irrigation controls to the garden team.

Irrigation water is available at each bed. Organic compost is applied to each bed annually.

03 / GARDEN TOGETHER

Shared Garden Care

  • Return shared tools after use and keep paths clear.
  • Respect private beds and tools; ask before harvesting or borrowing.
  • Share advice with fellow gardeners and ask the garden team about shared harvests.
